  Infrastructure

Koochiching County is a gateway to international commerce. Located on the U.S. border with Canada, its largest city, International Falls, offers excellent highway and rail transportation infrastructure, as well as daily commercial air service in and out of Falls International Airport.

The airport and two other industrial parks are designated Foreign Trade Zones, allowing companies to import components and parts that remain duty free until they are used to manufacture a product or service.

Electricity, natural gas, water, sewer, telephone, and Internet services are reliable and affordable throughout "Border Country." Infrastructure is in place to help companies access international resources, government services, and business support.
