The State of Minnesota, in conjunction with the Positively Minnesota Marketing Partnership, has developed a Shovel Ready certification program where sites across the state can be certified as "shovel ready" for development.

The Shovel Ready Site Certification Program addresses the technical and regulatory aspects of development.  Having this activity completed and the site certified before development discussions begin is a tremendous advantage when companies and site-location consultants come calling.

When sites in the region come on line as "shovel ready", this site will provide documents on those sites in Real Estate and the Reference Library.
