  Gilbert

Gilbert (2008 pop. est. 1,755) is one of the Quad Cities of northeastern Minnesota along with Eveleth, Virginia and Mountain Iron. Located three miles east of Highway 53 on Highway 37, Gilbert's commercial district enjoys year-round traffic with skiers and golfers heading to nearby Giant's Ridge in Biwabik. Industrial and commercial property is available with infrastructure in place to support growing companies. This includes tax-free JOBZ sites.

Gilbert is home to Minnesota's first off-highway vehicle park for ATVs. Nearby lakes, trails and forests offer many opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. The larger Quad Cities area includes health care, higher education, ample business services and shopping venues.
